The first boat I ever made was in Providence, Rhode Island -an aluminum rowboat.
My friend Rob Coggeshall devised a pully system to hide it under a bridge downtown.
We used the boat to explore canals and tunnells under the city.
This is Rob out in the boat in the snow. We were just 19 years old.
