Quarantine Island

As the stay at home order and social distancing guidelines persist in New York City, we are trying something new with the Tide and Current Taxi… virtual boat rides! For now it works like this; if you see me go live on instagram, ask to ‘join’ the feed, then you will be splitting the screen with me from wherever you are in the world. If you want to plan ahead, or if you have any other ideas for remote interactions, email me (with TAXI in the subject). When restrictions ease up in New York City, we can go for an actual boat ride, perhaps even to visit some of New York’s historic quarantine islands. —Marie Lorenz
